Pixelit Rent is an audio visual company based in Toronto, serving the GTA and southern Ontario. We supply equipment, design production, and run shows for live events — corporate galas, conferences, trade shows, weddings, concerts, fashion shows, and houses of worship. We are not a rental warehouse with a shipping desk: we are an AV production company that owns its gear and sends real engineers to operate it.
Our project leads are on most jobs personally — alongside engineers who actually know the rooms, the venues, and the equipment they are operating. That keeps standards consistent: the lead who quotes your job is on-site when it loads in.
Tell us your venue, date, and what you're trying to do.
Site visit if needed, then a tailored package and pricing.
Delivery, install, and pre-event testing on-site.
On-site support, then a clean strike when the night ends.
The person who quotes your event is the same one on-site running it. No mid-project handoffs from sales to ops to a stranger — one dedicated contact from first call to clean strike.
General liability insurance. Certificate of Insurance naming your venue as additional insured, issued in a few business days.
Equipment is owned, maintained, and tested in our warehouse — not subleased from a third party when you book.
Our lighting designers, audio engineers, and show callers are on staff or long-term partners — not random freelancers booked the week of.
Small add-ons start near $800. Most weddings and corporate productions run $3,000–$8,000. Multi-day setups with LED walls, full lighting, audio, and on-site techs can reach $25,000+. See pricing: LED walls, stage lighting, sound & audio.
6–8 weeks for custom builds (large LED walls, IMAG, complex lighting). 2–3 weeks for smaller packages. We also handle same-day and day-of requests when inventory allows — if your event is tomorrow, call us.
Toronto, the full GTA, and most of southern Ontario — including Niagara, Hamilton, Kitchener–Waterloo, London, Barrie, and cottage country. Travel beyond 30 minutes from Toronto adds cost, quoted upfront.
Yes for GTA bookings — delivery, setup, testing, and teardown are included. Not included by default: out-of-GTA travel, lift rental if the venue requires one, overnight gear holds past 11pm, and venue labour fees. All flagged in the quote.
For install-and-leave setups (uplighting, basic PA, small LED screens), no. For live operation — moving heads, IMAG, LED walls with motion graphics, complex audio — yes, recommended or required. Rates depend on call time and event length.
Smaller pitch = sharper image, higher cost. Rough guide: pitch in mm ≈ minimum viewing distance in metres. P2.6 for trade shows and corporate (3m+). P3.9 for concerts, ballrooms, and outdoor stages (4m+). Full breakdown: Understanding Pixel Pitch.
Projector: controlled lighting, screen under ~12 ft, tight budget. LED wall: ambient light you can't kill, outdoor or daytime, wide viewing angles, high visual impact. Full comparison: LED Walls vs Projectors.
Yes — heated metal granules that cool in seconds, no flame, won't trigger most sprinklers. Some heritage venues with sensitive smoke detection restrict them. Tell us your venue and we'll confirm before booking and provide safety docs if needed.
Yes, if you want beams visible. Haze: fine continuous mist for full-event beam visibility. Fog: thick and momentary, for entrances and reveals. Most venues need advance notice for haze due to smoke alarms — we coordinate it.
Yes. IMAG puts live camera feeds onto side screens or your LED wall so back-of-room guests can see faces — standard for events over 200. For hybrid/livestream: multi-camera switching, dedicated streaming feeds, and lower-third graphics.
Yes. General liability insurance, with COIs naming your venue as additional insured on request — most Toronto venues require this. Allow a few business days lead time.
